The Windsor Half Marathon takes place in the Windsor Great Park, within view of Windsor Castle. This was the 25th anniversary of the Half Marathon.

The Half Marathon raises funds from race entrants and sponsors of the event.

Sponsors in 2006 were Nike, Travis Perkins, Montgomery Exhibitions Ltd., ARUP, Land Securities, Computer Associates, BP, Huntswood, Faber Maunsell / AECOM, MEICA, Masterfoods and Lucozade Sport.

The event’s main charities which it raises funds for are CRASH and The Prince Philip Trust – HRH Prince Philip presents the trophies and prizes at the event.
£1000 is gifted from the Half Marathon, for the services that our Royal Mail team provide over the 7 days. During the 7 days we assist with the set up of the site, managing the drink stations and clearing the Estate of all debris, rubbish and so forth.

We are passing this £1000 gift on to CRY.
