On Saturday 18th October Kevin Burndred embarked on the Yorkshire three peaks challenge to mark the 10 year anniversary of the passing of his nephew Jordan Burndred. He was joined by a former colleague Beatriz Martinez and her partner Jamie Leggera with Helen Burndred completing one of the peaks and then driving a support vehicle. Kevin stated that it was physically one of the hardest things he has done and without the support of the others it would have been even worse. They completed the 24 mile route in just over 10 hours and amassed an incredible 62,374 steps. All three were delighted when the total raised went over the £1500 mark. This means that to date Jordan’s family have now raised and contributed over £100,000 to his memorial fund.
