Eleven year old Harry Steel organised a walk from Tynemouth Priory to St Mary’s Lighthouse in Tynemouth on Sunday, wearing wellies filled with jelly for the duration. The Jelly Welly Walk was a huge success, with a great turnout, and has so far raised £1,970 for charities Cardiac Risk in the Young and Maggies.
Preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families.
