David Gordon recently completed a sponsored walk organised by his local Rotary Club, and raised around £70 for CRY. David said: “When a friend organised a local sponsored walk on 23rd April, it seemed apt to do it for CRY. It was the 7th anniversary of the date my son, Ewan, collapsed and later died.”

21st October 2007 Philippa Stanyard and top Scottish cricketer Neil McCallum – who scored 60 against Pakistan in the summer – sportingly donned heart suits to publicise CRY and to help raise funds in memory of Croydon Harrier Cecilia Barriga. 25th August 2007 Aimee Norman organised a sponsored walk to raise money for CRY in memory of her boyfriend, Christopher Dixon. Aimee was joined on the walk by 11 others. The weather on the day was excellent, and overall the day was a great success.
