Gary Hilton and Carl Fisher, instructors at Precision Self Protection, held a weekend of seminars in Chesterfield to raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young, in memory of Carl’s niece, Louise Worth, from Leyland, Lancashire. On February 15th, a seminar was held at Buzzbox Fitness Club and another seminar was held at Well Fit Warehouse
On the 28th February, our first fundraising event of 2020, featuring Andy McGowan on sax and singing Madness etc., was held at The Monkwood in Rawmarsh. An incredible £437.30 was raised for our ongoing heart screening programme. -Jackie Cousins
A group of 7 friends, who all met through Scouting, decided to take on the 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for 3 charities with very personal meaning to the group; CRY, MND Association and Hearing Dogs. CRY was chosen because we all sadly lost a mutual friend (Tom Greenwood), aged just 20, when he left

Thirteen boys from years 9 and 10 at Horsforth School in Leeds chose CRY as their nominated charity for the school’s annual charity swim fundraiser. The lads shown in the photographs swam 1044 lengths between them and raised £500 after swim expenses. Older students from Horsforth School 6th form staged a charity boxing match in 2018
