A total of 99 young people aged between 14-35 were screened by Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) at the Binstead Community Centre, Ryde, Isle of Wight on Saturday 16Th November. The free heart screenings were sponsored by The Gemma Quew Memorial Fund. Gemma was only 30 when she passed away in 2011 from an undiagnosed
101 local young people were screened at Garstang Medical Practice in Garstang, Preston on 17th November 2019. The screening was held in memory of Matt Hesmondhalgh.
183 local young people were screened on the weekend of the 9th and 10th of November 2019 at Brine Leas School in Nantwich, Cheshire. The screening was held in memory of Matthew Dewhirst.
84 local young people were screened at North Chadderton School in Oldham on 12 November 2019. The screening was held in memory of Oliver Thompson.
102 young people were screened on Sunday 3rd November at York RI Sports & Social Club in memory of Michael Land. Michael’s niece Pippa and nephew Billy were the little helpers on the day, and £145 was raised.
