On the last day of school in July last year, we lost our beloved fourteen-year-old daughter Issy, and our lives changed forever. We know we can’t bring her back, so we have made it our mission to stop as many other families suffering the same trauma as ourselves, by raising as much money as humanly possible

Team Jord walked up Mount Snowdon in Wales during the night to reach the top for sunrise. Nicola Burndred
The Maximum Chick Flick Tribute Night on 14 May went really well and we raised £1455 towards Charlotte’s Memorial Fund. The picture is Charlotte’s sister (middle left) and Charlotte’s friends who with me and a couple of others are Charlie’s Angels – our fundraising team.

Autumn Peanut Head, Tubs, Pork and Beans, The Oracle: all nicknames we had for Harley. The one brother with three sisters. He was a bra stitching, chick flick watching, and sofa snuggling pain in our butts. No man will love us more than he did or be more protective, something he’ll have to do from afar
The students at Mountbatten School have raised £93 and 40 pence from the Easter Bunny raffle. This money was donated to the Phil Standing Memorial Fund for CRY. Phil Standing attended this school and it is very touching that they want to remember him in this way. They held a screening in 2015 and have booked
In May 2016 Lewis’s family kindly transferred £10,000 from his Memorial Fund to support CRY’s Cardiology Research Programme at the CRY Centre for Inherited Cardiovascular Conditions. CRY’s Research Programme is vital in enabling us to better understand, identify and manage cardiac conditions which could cause a young sudden cardiac death. Lewis’s family have made this transfer
