A CRY Charity Fun Run takes place at King George V Stadium, Grimsby on Sunday 28th September.
The Fun Run is part of a Family Fun Day, and organisers Lincs Inspire, invite children of all ages and their families to enter the charity Fun Run.
All entry fees will go towards funding a Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) heart screening event in Grimsby.
This is a local campaign led by a family whose daughter – Josephine Chatterton – died suddenly aged 24. Jo had an undiagnosed heart condition that would have been picked up with a screening. This CRY Fun Run is in memory of Jo, and is raising funds to screen 100 local young people. Find out more about Josephine’s story. https://www.c-r-y.org.uk/josephine-chatterton/
This is a non-competitive charity fun run sponsored by Porr and Pennells. All runners will receive a medal.
