CRY Awareness Week-Cake Bake/Coffee Morning

Marion Hayman and her team of ladies, lead by Stephanie Preston, raised an amazing £682. at their cake bake/coffee morning on Friday 25th November. Stalls included cakes, bunting, reindeers, Christmas trees, raffle and so much more. The event was well-supported by the local community. The money raised will go to the Jonathan Hayman Memorial Fund.


Sarah Craig – 12 A Week Challenge

This week I did lots of walks, cycling and cold swims. My aim was to do 7 swims for at least 12 minutes and one with my head submerged.  We swam inaround 5 degrees.


Family raise money for heart screening after tragic death of Nathan Bryan.

A mum has been left devastated as her son died with a heart problem three years after being told he didn’t need heart screening. Canterbury Rugby Club set to host heart screening event this weekend.

Canterbury Rugby Club will offer every playing member between 14 and 35 the chance to be screened for possible undiagnosed cardiac conditions. They will be working in partnership with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), with appointments available this Saturday and Sunday between 9am and 4pm at the Marine Travel Ground on Merton Lane Paul Sykes,


Father pledges to row across the Atlantic in memory of beloved daughter and raise funds for cardiac charity, CRY  

Andrew Osborne’s unsupported row across the Atlantic Ocean has already won sponsorship from MHR  27 October 2022, Rutland – Andrew Osborne, a 56-year-old Leicestershire-based businessman, has committed to rowing unsupported across the Atlantic in honour of his late daughter, Amy, who died aged 25 years-old from an undiagnosed heart condition,  to raise funds for the charity


Open Garden Fundraising Event
