Mountain trek on the GR5 from Contamines to Bellentre

15th-17th July 2007 Following an annual hiking tradition which began some 35 years ago, four old friends (and also old school friends) set off in brilliant sunshine to find the famous GR5 trail, south of Contamines on the western flank of Mont Blanc. Charity cricket match in memory of Simon Hewett

On Saturday 24th July Simon’s friends held their fifth annual cricket match at Stowe, Simon’s old school. Three teams competed, one representing his old school, one from Oxford Brookes, his old university, and by invitation a family team. "Run to the Beat" Half Marathon 2009

27th September 2009 Dawn McMorrow and James Lewis took part in the ‘Run to the Beat’ half marathon in London, raising £582 for CRY. James lost his cousin Simon Hewett to a heart condition in 2005. Simon was a keen sportsman and marathon runner, so the two wanted all money raised sent to the memorial fund
