A great way to fundraise, set an amount you wish to raise or a date for the big chop and encourage others to donate, you could broadcast the shave via social media so everyone can watch live.

Challenge others to see who is the best at certain skill based challenges! A few examples are: juggle the longest, spin a ball on their finger the longest, do 20 keepy uppies. You could us our text donate feature to donate to CRY and to nominate the next person/persons you wish to challenge!
As so many events have had to be postponed or cancelled, why not independently complete the event yourself? If you were due to take part in a half marathon, marathon, or long-distance cycle, you can walk, run or cycle the same distance in your local area!
Simply use an app to track the distance you intend to do. This will allow you to plan your route or to go a distance for a specific amount of time (e.g. – how long it would take you to complete your intended event).

Don’t forget to share your challenge with your friends, family and on social media and let them know when your starting/finishing and ask them to support your efforts.

Why not see if any friends or family would also like to take on your challenge and help raise even more funds!
You could even set up a zoom video call while you are training / participating in the challenge and do it together!
Additional support is powerful and the more people involved, the wider the message will spread.
Asking your friends and family to share your page on social media can help encourage other to support you! You can also ask people to share your online fundraising page if they can not donate, helping to raise awareness is also a great way to support CRY.
