Hull 10k 2017 – Spencer Buttle

I had heart surgery aged 10 to correct a number of cardiac defects. I was lucky, in so much that my conditions were identified & part corrected before I suffered serious consequence. As a result I’ve had a healthy & fairly active life. I played competitive football into my 40s along with squash & other sports.

Manchester 10k 2017 in memory of Emily Rose Dunn

My husband, sister and I running the Manchester 10k on Sunday 28th May. We completed the race in a time of 1h 10min and 50 seconds which is not bad considering the giant costumes! We had a great time and raised around £500 for CRY in memory of Emily Rose Dunn. Frankie Dunn (running with Robert Dunn

JimJam in memory of James Murgatroyd

We had an amazing response to our music event (JimJam) on 9th June, with almost 300 people attending a fantastic evening. The venue was actually where James and his band had previously played.  Three bands kindly offered to play including one of James’s band members who made a solo appearance. We also held a raffle with

Heart of London Bridges Walk in memory of Rachael Kiely-Cohen

We did the CRY Heart of London Bridges Walk in memory of Rachael Kiely-Cohen, who passed away in 2014 aged 18.  We gathered together on Potters Field with hundreds of families all feeling the same – we were doing our bit, but this shouldn’t happen. The walk began and passers by started looking at the T-shirts
