MP ‘launch event’ showcases renewed commitment to shaping policy

A MP drop-in session on Tuesday December 2, was held to re-engage with Parliamentarians from across all parties and to ‘showcase’ CRY’s intentions of “leading the conversation” and playing a greater role in informing key decision-makers around the importance of cardiac screening in young people, aged 14-35.

Jointly hosted by Amanda Hack, MP and Liam Conlon, MP saw o er 30 MP’s attend.

Support CRY’s Mission – Encourage Your MP to Join Us on 2 December

We are asking CRY families to contact their Member of Parliament and encourage them to attend an important event in Parliament on Tuesday 2 December at Portcullis House, hosted by Amanda Hack MP alongside Liam Conlon MP in support of Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

MPs will be invited to learn more about CRY’s work and the aims and objectives of the Cardiac Risk in the Young All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), ahead of its formal relaunch at the AGM in early 2026, to be chaired by Amanda Hack MP.
