BetVictor Northern Premier League Teams Up with CRY to Offer Free Heart Tests

The Non-League Paper, 27th January 2020 Partnering with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in support of the Daniel Wilkinson Foundation, the BetVictor Northern Premier League (NPL) is offering free heart screenings to fans, players and officials ages 14 to 35 at the North West Cardiac Centre in Preston on the 13th and 14th of March.

Preston screening in memory of Andrew Parr

Run Preston 2006 – in memory of Andrew Parr

9th July 2006 On a wet Sunday morning, five employees from Preston Crown Court, including myself, set off into unknown territory. After little training, but lots of spirit, we began a 5km run through the streets of Preston – hoping more than expecting that we would complete the course. Youngster's tragic death inspires coast-to-coast walk

A trio of charity walkers have walked the breadth of the country in memory of a youngster who collapsed and died outside a Preston night club. Mum's screening dream comes true

Ann and Elisa Coles both successfully completed Tandem Skydives, to raise money for CRY in memory of Andrew Coles. Mums' heart screen quest

Two mums whose sons died suddenly of undetected heart defects are funding a life-saving screening programme. Ruth Lowe, 50, and Ann Coles, 52, have raised enough cash to offer the £35 ECG screenings free to people aged between 14 and 35. The screenings will be held in Preston in the near future.
