Coffee morning in memory of Julian Wort

£413.55 was raised at a coffee morning organised by Eileen Byrne for the Julian Wort Memorial Fund. My friend, Lisa Fairhurst, made a lovely chocolate cake and we decided to raffle it, raising £55 in the process. It was a lovely morning with plenty of cups of teas and coffees, cakes, raffles and a book stall.


CRY screening in Frome in memory of Julian Wort

Julian Wort Memorial Fund reaches over £42,000

Frome Times, August 17th 2017 Through their fundraising, Dave & Shirley Wort have been able to donate two defibrillators and two ECG machines to local hospitals and organise four local screenings with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY). These screenings have seen 278 young people screened, with the latest one taking place in June next year.
