Freemasons support CRY
The Freemasons Provincial Grand Charity of the Province of Derbyshire presented £250 to Elaine following a donation of the same amount by the Freemasons Dronfield Lodge at the end of 2013.
Coffee Morning in memory of Neil Ward
A coffee morning was held at the home of Elaine Ward on 29th November 2013 to raise funds for the heart screening in Dronfield in July 2014. £414 was raised thanks to friends who together with Elaine made and sold craft items, cakes, jams and chutneys, cards and Christmas Trees made out of Celebration Chocolates which
Rotary Supports CRY
In September 2013 The Rotary Club of Dronfield donated £250 to CRY as well as to other local charities. The money was raised by Dronfield Rotarians who had taken part in the summer 2013 Music in the Gardens event in Sheffield’s Botanical Gardens.

A Folk and Country evening was held in Dronfield’s Pioneer Club on 17th December 2012 to raise both awareness and funds for CRY. The Great Cake Bake Coffee Morning in memory of Neil Ward
In November 2014 during Elaine’s presidency of Dronfield Inner Wheel, she held her first coffee morning to raise funds for screening in Dronfield. It was in conjunction with CRY’s Great Cake Bake held at the end of Raising Awareness Week. Over 40 people attended. It was a very special day.
Quilt Raffle in memory of Neil Ward
Some members of Dronfield Inner Wheel including Elaine made a patchwork quilt which was raffled for CRY. This raised £1000.
