Hackney Half Marathon in memory of Ally Calvert

The run went great, but my god it was SO hot! I finished in 2:42, nowhere near my planned timed but in 27 degree heat I was pleased to finish! My dad met me at mile 8 for moral support and ended up running the last 5 miles with me to keep me going, people were

Hackney Half Marathon – Grace McLaughlin

On Sunday 8th May I ran the Hackney Half for Cardiac Risk in the Young. Along with thousands of others I crossed the start line, hoping that I wouldn’t evaporate in the 26 degree heat. The course began at Hackney marshes and weaved in and out of the east London streets, each corner as packed out

On 13th June 2015 11 of Joe’s friends and family climbed Snowdon and raised £1,520 which got Joe’s memorial fund to £8,500. Leeds Half Marathon – Jonny Cooper

After months of training and losing two stone in weight, I felt nervous about running the race in a good time. I’d set myself a target of beating my previous time of 1:56:56 from the 2012 Leeds half-marathon and that anything more was a bonus! I was struck down with a bout of man flu in

Bosworth Half Marathon

The run went well despite the temperature touching 26 degrees. I completed the run in 2 hours, 31mins and 50 seconds. My Mum, Dad, partner and 1 year old son James came along too. We thoroughly enjoyed the day, enjoying a picnic afterwards and a nice chilled Prosecco to celebrate! I enjoyed the run despite it being very warm,

Uxbridge College 24 hour football match

Uxbridge College students and staff played football non-stop for 24-hours, raising a massive £3,200 for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY). Maserati Tour de Yorkshire in memory of Jamie Loncaster

We all finished the ride on Sunday after a gruelling 119 km and 5000 feet of hills, and we all crossed the finish line together making a bold statement with our kit on. We had great support during the ride from crowds of people who came out in force to support the cyclists. By the time

Tough Mudder in memory of Chloe Waddell

3 years ago, we lost a close friend to an undiagnosed heart condition, she was only 16. We decided we wanted to do something to raise money and awareness of the charity that could save the lives of many young people similar to her. We took part in Tough Mudder in April 2016, a 12-mile obstacle
