The Great Cake Bake Coffee Morning in memory of Neil Ward

In November 2014 during Elaine’s presidency of Dronfield Inner Wheel, she held her first coffee morning to raise funds for screening in Dronfield.  It was in conjunction with CRY’s Great Cake Bake held at the end of Raising Awareness Week. Over 40 people attended.  It was a very special day.

Quilt Raffle in memory of Neil Ward

Some members of Dronfield Inner Wheel including Elaine made a patchwork quilt which was raffled for CRY.  This raised £1000. Sunshine Ball in memory of Amy Jayne Russell

A charity fundraising ball was held at the Victoria & Albert hotel in Manchester, in memory of Amy Jayne Russell, who died 15th October 2004 in Fuerteventura of an undiagnosed medical condition. A total of £2,158 was raised. The ball was attended by 130 of her family – friends and supporters. The ex Manchester United player ‘Stormin Norman’

Christmas charity in memory of Ronnie Armitage

Daniel Launder kindly chose C.R.Y for his schools annual Christmas charity. Daniel lost his uncle Ronnie to sudden death in April 2008. Daniel really enjoys helping raise money, £417 was raised from the generous parents of Oasis academy Pinewood.

Cricket match and fun day

19th September 2014 Our aim was to raise money to fund the purchase of a defibrillator to be available at our local football development centre where the Milton Branch of the North Staffs Lads and Dads play their home matches. The day was a great success and we raised a fantastic amount of money, over £4000.

Laura and close friend Natalie Bridgman, 28, from Stubbington, planned and organised a charity ball in memory of David, calling it the Red Heart Ball.
