I ran the half marathon! As horrible as it was i completed it in 2hrs 4 mins. I’ve managed to raise over £1000 now for CRY, which i am so so grateful to everyone for. Hope this money is helpful 🙂 Proud to have run for your charity and for Tom. Neil Gamble
At the June monthly meeting of the Circle the President of the Circle invited me along to give a short talk about CRY, on how it started and the various activities it is involved with. At the end of the evening as is customary they had a raffle and this represents the proceeds of the raffle. The
Dr Jenny Bucknell was a rower at Cardiff University Rowing Club who sadly passed away on 5th April 2011, at just 23. It later transpired that Jenny had the heart condition known as ARVC. Due to the close, personal connection, the rowing club was very keen to therefore raise money for CRY. We attempted to cycle

Jack Thomas was a gifted, well liked player at Blackwood RFC, it was a shock to hear of the family’s devastation at the loss of their son and brother. We all decided as a club we would like to be a part of the fundraising, as we knew Jack and CRY is such a worthy charity.

In December 2012 our beautiful mum, Caroline Macdonald passed away at the age of 38. We wanted to do something in her memory and to help save others who are at risk. We challenged our dad and step-mum to run a half marathon and 10k as part of the Great Scottish Run on October 1st 2017.

Birmingham Half Marathon in Memory of Carl Buckley who passed away in December 2016. Race day was excellent, thousands of happy and excited people lined up at the start line.
