Cake Sale in Memory of Aashi Sinha

In memory of Aashi’s departure 10 years ago, our annual cake sale pledges to raise at least £10,000 this year. We hope everyone will join us on Saturday 24th June 2023 10-4pm at Christ The eternal High Priest Church, 410 Brentwood Road, Romford RM2 6DH. The cake sale is an opportunity to enjoy homemade savoury and sweet snacks, socialise and chat over a coffee. We will also have fun guessing how many smarties on the cake and playing tombola, enjoy memories of what has gone before, celebrate achievements to date and share hopes for the future… as well as buy some cakes! Please join us and help raise £10,000 this year 🎂❤️🙏🏽

Why Do I Support CRY? During Heart Month 2024, CRY launched ‘why do I support CRY?’. The campaign aims to personify and tell the stories behind CRY. We are asking our supporters to send in their reasons for supporting CRY so we can share them on our social media what CRY means to so many.

Annual fundraising cake sale returns to raise money for CRY in memory of Aashi Sinha

A long-running annual cake sale dedicated to an 18-year-old who died has returned to Gidea Park.  Following a hiatus during the Covid pandemic, the fundraiser for Cardiac Risk In The Young (CRY) was held on July 16 at Catholic Church of Christ the Eternal High Priest on Brentwood Road.  It rasied £5,440 for the charity, which works to prevent young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening
